How to Apply to Middle Division

Parents are encouraged to schedule a campus visit to discuss the admissions process. Schedule a tour with the Admissions Office by calling (813) 885-1673 or emailing admissions@cranioklepty.com. 

• Complete the 2025-2026 application.

• The application deadline is February 1. Admissions applications received after February 1 will be considered for our waiting pool.

From your myBerkeley Admissions Checklist, you have the option to electronically submit the form to your school registrar or print a PDF and submit it to the school registrar after November 15.

From your myBerkeley Admissions Checklist, you have the option to electronically submit the teacher recommendations (current English and Math), or print the PDFs and submit to the teachers after November 15.

• All applicants for sixth grade, seventh grade, and eighth grade are required to take the SSAT. The applicant’s family is responsible for individual registration. Please visit www.ssat.org.

• Berkeley is offering the following on-campus dates: October 12, November 9, December 7, December 21, and January 4.

• When registering, please select Berkeley (school code 1600) as a “score recipient.”

Expect Berkeley to confirm receipt of your application and schedule an appointment with the Admissions Office for the OLSAT (Otis-Lennon School Ability Test) and a writing sample at Berkeley. The applicant’s interview will take place during the Berkeley testing visit.

Berkeley makes all admissions decisions without regard to financial status. Families who have reviewed their financial situation and feel that help may be needed in paying tuition should apply for aid.
